Our Jenny was brilliant at sign language especially Makaton. We also had our own sign language as children. Jen was also able to lip read when it suited her, so when we least expected it, she would ask an awkward question so innocently but with a cheeky sparkle in her eyes.

Jen taught us so much over the years and for that reason we want to help others as she always did and wanted to do.

Jenny always knew there was some different about her, but not sure what. Most shallow people defined her by her syndrome, so kept away, but to us she was beautiful and perfect. She was an angel on earth. Not one bad bone in her body. She was infectious, funny, loving, caring and above all happy.

I believe she had the last laugh as all she wanted in the last few months of her life, were the people she loved most because she could trust them and rely on them and she knew she was loved and wanted by them. For everyone else who did not take the time, she did not worry as she did not remember them. Her life was with us and close friends and our life was her.

We are going to help others learn sign language in her memory, so everyone knows what Jenny Wren was about. Jenny will always live on......
